RAC Associate Membership

The Railway Association of Canada (RAC) not only represents close to 60 freight, intercity, commuter and tourist railways, it also has a growing number of associate members. These companies are either railways that operate exclusively on industrial sites (industrial railways), or suppliers that provide essential products and services to railways in Canada―everything from technology, to equipment and parts, training and education, and environmental, management, engineering and construction services.

Through their associate membership, companies benefit from a range of RAC services such as training and technical support on dangerous-goods handling, and railcar loading and damage prevention. They also enjoy access to RAC’s key railway members. Becoming an associate member also means that their voice is heard when it comes to the development of regulations that could impact their products and services—and their bottom line.
